CLAYART:
- clayart is an email based discussion group with an international (but
mainly American) list of Subscribers ( If you are new to the internet
you may be put off by being told you have to subscribe
don't worry no money is involved! Subscribe to the clayart list and your
email inbox will never be empty! However if this is OK it remains the
number one place to get an answer to any ceramic question, with some
very well informed people willing to impart their knowledge. You do not
need to actively participate you can just watch (lurk).

can search the Clayart Archives so if for instance you are looking for
glaze recipes or how to fire copper red glazes or almost anything else
this is worth a try, and it gives you some idea of the range of things

groups. There is one pottery group: - rec.crafts.pottery and one other
which has occasional pottery posts: - uk.rec.crafts. If your ISP doesn't 'do' newsgroups try using Google.A search of Google groups for rec.crafts.pottery |
