- Price I have always found the price lower than
any bookshop that I can visit. This includes the postage payable.
- Convenience I live in a rural area the nearest
(small) bookshop is 7 miles away, the nearest larger bookshop
(Waterstones) 20 miles. The selection of other than popular titles
held in either means that for any specialised interest books have
to
be ordered. Amazon's online catalogue gives more information about
a
book than is available in the shop. When the ordered book arrives
a
14 miles round trip car journey has to be made to collect it. Amazon's
comes with the postman!
- Speed If the book ordered from Amazon.co.uk is
in stock, delivery is very fast. The last book I ordered was in my
hands 22 hours after placing the order (by normal postal delivery).
- Ease of use After filling in details for your
first order, the "One-Click" ordering system means just
that. Also it is simple to check on the progress of any book that
has had to be ordered by Amazon.
- Trust Having successfully purchased several books
without problem I feel confident in using Amazon.co.uk
