Kevin Baldwin Pottery & Ceramics

I was introduced to pottery at school, and was studying pottery at evening classes in my local college for 15 years. I now have my own studio where I fire Raku, Earthenware and Stoneware handmade pottery.
Most of my work is thrown, but I enjoy handbulding large ware for Raku.

Terrigena - Sculptural Ceramics by Claire Williams

I am based in the Conwy Valley in North Wales. My work is inspired by the animals, mountains and scenery around me.
I enjoy finding out how small I can go with the clay, so, although much of my work is very small, it is still lovingly made, and each piece is completely unique.

THE END ROOM
(3 votes)
The End Room is literally the end room of a 17th century farmhouse in the picturesque hamlet of Newton. Artists Steve and Barbara Leaning have turned a room of their home into a studio and gallery to showcase a mix of contemporary and traditional ceramics, painting and sculpture. Handmade original studio pottery. Ranging from crisp contemporary design pieces to creative art ceramics and traditional ethnic coil pots. Distinctive as well as practical they enhance any home.
Resident potter Steve Leaning specializes in making slab built pots in stoneware, from simple little boxes up to large decorative pieces. Barbara's pots are hand coiled each slowly evolving a shape of its own - no two are ever the same.
